New York, SPA:
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia affirmed that it stands firmly in the face of extremism and terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and whatever its source, and fights them without hesitation in all their financial, intellectual and security aspects, as well as its involvement in all international efforts to combat extremism and terrorism at all levels.
This came in the speech of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia delivered by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir before the General Debate of the United Nations General Assembly at the opening of its seventy-second session in New York City on last Satyrday.
The kingdom stressed that the crisis of Qatar is mainly part of in its firm policy of combating extremism and terrorism and drying up its sources of funding in the context of Doha's financially supportive policies for it, spreading the rhetoric of violence and hatred and harboring the wanted ones, which contributed to spreading chaos and sedition and undermining security and stability in the region.
The kingdom said that on this basis, came its position with her brothers in the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Republic of Egypt against the Qatari policies after the matter became grave and a threat to the security of our countries.
The kingdom stressed that the position taken by the four countries clearly demands that Qatar abide by international principles and laws in the fight against terrorism, including adherence to its commitments in the Riyadh Agreement of 2013 and the supplementary agreement in 2014, which are legitimate demands.
On the Arab-Israeli conflict , the kingdom said that the Arab-Israeli conflict remains the longest conflict in the region in our present history, with all the tragedies, suffering and human suffering. We do not see any justification for the continuation of this conflict, especially in light of the international consensus on a two-state solution based on the resolutions of international legitimacy and the Arab peace initiative, leading to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital. In light of these facts, we believe that serious international will would translate the principles of the solution into reality.

The kingdom will continue to provide humanitarian support to those affected Rohingyas, the kingdom said, adding that recently, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud allocated $ 15 million to the Rohingyas. The kingdom said that it hosted more than half a million of them, noting the personal contacts made by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques with the neighboring countries of Myanmar, including his close contact with the sister government of Bangladesh, to open the crossings to them and providing aid to the Rohingya refugees by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
