| King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has announced the establishment of King Abdullah Financial Center on 11/4/1427H. The center will be the first of its kind in the Middle East in terms of size, organization, technical standards and equipment to match the largest international centers. The buildings will be constructed on a land area of 1.6 million square meters. The constructions started since 2007 and is expected to be completed on several stages. When completed the Center will enhance the position of the kingdom –World's Oil Capital- as the financial capital of the Middle East. The Center has the most up-to-date working environment equipped with the latest international standards. |

| The Public Pension Agency is Constructing the Communications and Information Technology Complex in Riyadh, it comprises advanced infrastructure for modern technology industries with a strategy of developing the information technology sector in the Kingdom. The Complex will be used for technical work, assembling, manufacturing of primary high-tech prototypes, technical support services such as materials factories used for research and development activities and commercial services such as hotels, restaurants and banks. The total construction area of the project is about one million square meters. The complex will be funded by the Public Pension Agency (PPA), it will accommodate the headquarters of businesses, research, development and production centers of major telecommunication and local and global information technology companies, as well as providing opportunities for the private and local sectors to investment in the complex and take advantage of the many features and facilities provided to investors at the local, regional and global levels. |

| This is one of the biggest three botanical gardens in the world, its total area is about 2 million square meters and it consists of a range of global iconic gardens with particular scientific, cultural and environmental features, as well as water, ice, desert and aquariums, waterfalls, children parks, birds, butterflies, reptiles, flowers, and integrated services - such as markets, theaters, meeting halls coffee shops, playgrounds and other services. The Gardens consist of: Botanic Garden and Botanical Museum, Seed Bank, Gene Bank, Scientific Parks, International Garden, Water Parks, Valley-walk, watchtowers, celebration fields, seats Picnicking places. This project is expected to greatly enhance tourism, and be a front for tourism projects in Riyadh in particular and Saudi Arabia in general. This gigantic project is a huge leap in the concept of a very large tourism and recreation in the Kingdom, and will attract many of the Kingdom's residents and the residents of the neighboring countries. |

The Custodian of the Two holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz opened this University on Wednesday 23 September 2009 so that this educational edifice becomes an International Research University in post graduate studies dedicated to work on starting a new era of scientific achievement in the Kingdom, and benefits the region and the world. The University is supported by an Endowment of several billion dollars, and governed by a Permanent and an Independent Board of Trustees, merit is the basis for its work and it welcomes men and women from all over the world. The University seeks to implement its research plan through strategic research themes that focus on areas of science and technology of interest to the Kingdom and the region and the world in general, namely: resources, energy, environment, science, bioengineering, engineering and materials science, applied mathematics and computer science. The University has established multi-disciplinary research centers to support these themes, it grants degrees in 11 fields. The main campus occupies an area of more than 36 million square meters at Thule Area along the Red Sea Coast, about 80 kilometers north of Jeddah.

| Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz issued a royal order no. 35/A dated 3/5/1431H on Saturday for establishing ''King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy'' for peaceful purposes.
Having its headquarter in Riyadh, the city is a specialized scientific organization that is administratively linked to the Premiere. It is envisioned to contribute in Kingdom's sustained development exploiting sciences, researches and industries of atomic and renewable energy for peaceful purposes. As a result, this will lead to welfare of the Saudi community and improve life in general. The city will support research and development scientific activities in addition to localizing relevant technology. Within its general activities, it will have coordination with other centers of research in Saudi Arabia in addition to holding local conferences. The city will also attempt to specify priorities and national policies in the field of atomic and renewable energy to build a strong scientific and technologic base in the fields of power and desalinated water, in addition to medical, industrial, agricultural and mineral fields. Working in collaboration with other Government Sectors And Agencies, the city will focus on developing all relevant national competencies and skills. |

The aim of establishing these cities is to activate regional development for they are the beginning of a new stage of industrial and business that includes most of the long term investments in the Kingdom. This is the largest architectural construction projects in the Kingdom, they were designed with the latest architectural concepts so that they become one of the most important economic cities in the world, each City will embrace nearly two million people, provide will take about 20 years beginning from the year 2006 until the year 2025. The first stage is currently under way to develop the city, which extends for a period of 5 years beginning from 2006 until 2011. At the end of the project the city is expected to include a seaport, an industrial zone, central business district, resorts and facilities area, the residential neighborhoods, and the scientific and research institutions.

Under the instructions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the General Investment Authority is supervising the construction of Jazan Economic City. The project is in a strategic location along the Red Sea, 60 km north of the city of Jazan. The City is expected to attract over one hundred million Saudi Riyals of private investment from various sectors, this will contribute to in the provision of 500 thousand direct and indirect jobs. The city is focusing on heavy industries with energy-intensive, and provides all the needs for establishing various secondary industries, especially in the area of agricultural support and fishery industries. The city plans to establish a regional center for exporting of iron ore and pellets to the Middle East. | The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz opened Abdulaziz Bin Musa'ed Economic City on 13 June 2006 in Ha'il Area, North of the Kingdom. The total area of the City is 156 Million Square Meters and will be constructed at a total cost of 30 billion Saudi Riyals. The project will provide about 30,000 jobs for Saudi youth in Ha'il which will in turn double the gross domestic product. When completed, the City is an important economic edifice, its unique and distinguished strategic position will enable the city to be an integrated regional system in the transport and logistics. The city will contain an international airport, railway, and land-port. |

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques directed that the General Investment Authority in coordination with some of the big national companies to establish an investment body in order to develop the Land of King Abdullah Foundation for Social Housing east of Al Madinah Al Munauwarah to be a landmark for serving the visitors and residents of Madinah, and a National and Global Monument for economic development which is based on knowledge-based industries. The city aims to establish a foundation for economic development based on knowledge-based industries, support tourism and marketing through the Seirah Museum of and the market area and a world-class integrated tourist facilities, and also the establishment of a commercial area with modern infrastructure to serve residents and visitors to reduce pressure on the Central Area of the city, in addition to the development of a distinctive residential area for those wishing to work, invest and stay next to the Prophet's Mosque - peace be upon him-. The city is expected to attract investments worth 30 billion Riyals and provide more than 20000 new jobs.
